Writing Your Spiritual Story
We all have our own story, a personal narrative of significant events that make us who we are today. One of the beliefs that make us Episcopalian is that we come to know God through these stories and through the relationships we develop when we share them. In this insightful program novelist and essayist Sophfronia Scott will facilitate a weekend of reading and discovery. On Friday evening participants will consider examples of contemporary spiritual stories and discuss the features that make them “spiritual.” On Saturday we will work with a series of writing prompts so participants can generate their own stories. No need to be an experienced writer. You are already an experienced human being.
