Sophfronia will preach a homily at the 8am and 9:30am services. Afterwards she will speak in a forum discussing the baptismal covenant promise to “persevere in resisting evil, and, whenever you fall into sin, repent and return to the Lord.” She’ll connect this to her experience of the shooting in Newtown and her work that followed highlighting the spiritual lives of children in a secular world.
